Support utilities

Small, reviewed scripts that help set up and diagnose the bench workstation. Each one states its purpose, publisher, version, SHA-256, prerequisites and the exact changes it makes. They are published independently of app releases and never run automatically.

Before running anything: download the file, check its hash with Get-FileHash, and read it. These scripts are plain PowerShell. Run them with powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\<name>.ps1 from the folder you extracted them to; that flag applies to the single invocation and does not change the machine’s policy.

Vendor software

The MVS camera runtime and any Envi/Hikrobot software are not redistributed here. Obtain them through Next Vision or IT from the vendor’s supported download, and keep the x64 runtime installed where the app expects it. See the runtime guide.

Remote support

Attended screen sharing and an engineering terminal over Tailscale are planned as a later, explicitly enrolled step. Nothing in this catalog installs a remote-access service, changes firewall rules, or enrolls a device.
